How Did Shalva Get Started?

It started with a problem we couldn't solve.

For years, I tried everything to help my wife meditate. Apps, classes, books, nothing stuck. She wanted to, but life always got in the way. Meditation felt like another task on an endless list.

Then I built a small meditation corner in our home. Just a beautiful, quiet space that was always there, always ready.

Something unexpected happened.

My wife started sitting there. First for two minutes. Then five. Then it became her morning ritual. Within weeks, the transformation was remarkable - she was clearer, calmer, more energized. Her business flourished. She found a joy and groundedness that touched every part of her life.

Here's what surprised me most: After years of inconsistent practice, I finally stuck with daily meditation too. The space wasn't just inviting, it was magnetic. It called us in.

That's when it clicked.

People don't fail at meditation because it's difficult. They fail because their environment doesn't support it.

I called my brother Tal. We both saw it immediately: We invest in our bodies, our homes, our careers, but rarely in the one thing that affects everything else: our mind.

We named our company Shalva - Hebrew for "serenity" or "inner peace" - because that's exactly what happened when we created the right space. The struggle disappeared. Peace became accessible.

Shalva exists for one reason: To make meditation as natural as brushing your teeth.

We believe every home deserves a space that whispers, "Come, sit for a moment." A space so beautiful and inviting that resistance melts away.

Because when meditation stops being a struggle and becomes a joy, everything changes.

Sometimes, all it takes is the right corner of your home to transform your entire life.

Welcome to Shalva.
